Baby Daycare Program Details…

At Ms. Vickie’s Daycare, we accept infants 6-months and older.

Caring for your baby is both a privilege and a serious responsibility. In these early months of growth, it is imperative to provide attentive, loving care in a safe, secure environment where your child can feel comforted, understood, and nurtured throughout the day. Babies from 6 months and up depend on the adults around them for both their physical care and their emotional well-being, and we take that trust to heart.

In a quality infant daycare setting, every baby deserves care that is personal, responsive, and consistent. Infants thrive when they are surrounded by warmth, patience, and dependable routines. They are learning how to express their needs, respond to familiar voices, and show their own unique personalities. By carefully recognizing and responding to those needs—whether your baby needs feeding, diapering, cuddling, comfort, play, or rest—we help create a strong foundation for healthy development and early learning.

At Ms. Vickie’s Daycare, we understand how important it is to pay attention to each baby’s individual cues. Sometimes a baby needs a clean diaper or a fresh bottle. Sometimes a baby simply wants to be held, talked to, sung to, or gently engaged in play. And often, after receiving the care and attention they need, babies are ready to settle into restful sleep. This kind of attentive caregiving helps babies feel secure and valued, while giving parents peace of mind that their child is being cared for with tenderness and experience.

Our daycare includes a separate nap area adjoining the main classroom, giving babies a comfortable space for needed rest during the day. We also maintain careful diapering routines, with diapers checked at least every 90 minutes and changed promptly whenever soiled or otherwise necessary. Cleanliness, attentiveness, and consistency are all important parts of providing quality infant care.

We also believe that infant daycare should support discovery and development in gentle, age-appropriate ways. Babies learn through interaction, movement, sound, and touch. That is why we take time to hold, play with, and talk to each baby. We provide stimulation by pointing out things to look at, touch, and listen to, helping babies become more aware of the world around them. Loving interaction and simple daily experiences can do so much to support early social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Because safety is essential in infant care, we have taken steps to baby-proof our home so that babies who are becoming more mobile can explore more safely. As infants grow and begin crawling and moving about with greater curiosity, a protected home daycare environment becomes even more important. Our goal is to provide a setting where babies can be cared for closely while also having safe opportunities to explore.

Parents are asked to provide an adequate supply of diapers, a change of clothes, a blanket for nap time, and three bottles. All items brought into the daycare should be labeled with the baby’s first name. Baby formula, baby food, and wipes are supplied by Ms. Vickie’s Daycare, helping families prepare for the day with greater ease and convenience.

At Ms. Vickie’s Daycare, we know that dependable and consistent care helps babies form healthy attachments and feel important, secure, and loved. Our infant daycare program is designed to meet the needs of babies 6 months and older with patience, affection, and close attention to daily routines. We are proud to provide a nurturing home daycare environment where your baby can be cared for with kindness, comfort, and individualized attention.
